Remarketing Specialist

Make the follow-up relevant to the customer journey.

I help businesses plan relevant follow-up advertising for people who have already interacted with their website or offer. Remarketing work starts with audience purpose, exclusions and the measurement setup.

Make the follow-up relevant to the customer journey.

Some visitors need product information, others need an explanation of your service, and some have already converted. I organize remarketing around those differences so the next message has a clear reason to exist.

Audience size, platform restrictions and consent choices affect what can be activated. The plan describes these dependencies before creative and campaign work begins.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Everyone receives the same ad regardless of their previous action.

  • Completed customers remain in an unsuitable follow-up sequence.

  • Audience plans ignore consent, eligibility or limited signal volume.

Specialist work, with a clear purpose.

Audience journey planning

Define useful segments around engagement and business actions without treating every visitor as equally ready to buy.

Eligibility & tracking review

Assess available audience signals, platform requirements and the consent setup before planning activation.

Follow-up message testing

Match audience stages with relevant creative, offers and exclusions for completed actions.

How the work comes together.

I define the reason for each audience before designing its message. A visitor who read a guide may need more explanation; someone who examined a product may need a relevant product reminder. Audience conditions and exclusions should reflect those differences using the signals the platform can actually support.

Planning also covers measurement and the conditions that make an audience usable. An audience name is not proof of eligibility or reach. I review available event collection and platform constraints, then propose a follow-up approach that your team can maintain and evaluate without claiming to observe every individual journey.

What I need to get started

  • Available advertising accounts and audience definitions
  • Website event information and consent setup context
  • Existing offers, creative and customer-stage descriptions

This engagement covers audience and message planning plus agreed campaign work. It does not bypass platform restrictions or create access to audiences that are ineligible.

Questions worth asking.

How do you choose audience exclusions?

Exclusions are based on the intended customer stage and reliable signals, such as an already completed action where available. They should be checked against the actual implementation rather than assumed from a label.

How should remarketing performance be interpreted?

The review considers attribution and the audience’s prior interest. A reported conversion does not by itself establish that the follow-up caused the sale, so comparisons and business context remain important.

Can every business use every remarketing audience?

No. Availability depends on platform policies, audience eligibility, data collection and the nature of the offer. The setup needs to be reviewed for the specific business and account.
