Schema Markup Specialist
Describe your real content with consistent structured data.
I help websites describe their visible content with appropriate structured data. Schema work focuses on choosing suitable types, using accurate properties and avoiding conflicting output from themes and plugins.
Describe your real content with consistent structured data.
Structured data should describe real information. Invented reviews, unsupported ratings or irrelevant schema types can create a misleading representation of the page. I review the content before deciding which markup belongs there.
Implementation can use a theme, custom code or an existing SEO plugin. The preferred approach keeps a clear source of truth so updates to page content do not leave stale details in the markup.
Does any of this sound familiar?
The theme and plugins output conflicting schema entities.
Markup contains properties unsupported by the visible page.
Validation warnings are fixed without understanding their meaning.
Specialist work, with a clear purpose.
Existing markup audit
Review JSON-LD and plugin output for duplication, inconsistent entities and properties that do not match the page.
Schema implementation
Add suitable structured data for relevant pages using real titles, authors, services, dates and other supported information.
Validation & maintenance
Check syntax and relevant eligibility requirements, then document where values come from and how they update.
How the work comes together.
I begin with the page content and the purpose of the entity being described. A service page, editorial article and business profile need different considerations. The implementation should use real values and stable relationships rather than copying a large schema example filled with information the site cannot support.
The audit also identifies which system owns the markup. Theme code, plugins and custom integrations can overlap, leaving stale or duplicate entities. Validation covers the rendered JSON-LD and relevant requirements, with documentation that explains where values are sourced and what must change when the website evolves.
What I need to get started
- Representative pages and existing schema output
- Details of SEO plugins or custom integrations
- Approved identity, service and author information
The work covers accurate structured data and its maintenance. Rich-result display, search eligibility decisions and unsupported review claims are outside any guaranteed deliverable.
Questions worth asking.
Should every page use FAQ schema?
No. A question section alone does not justify every schema type or rich-result expectation. The markup needs to represent the actual page and follow relevant eligibility guidance.
Can you use our existing SEO plugin?
Yes, where it supports the required configuration. One clear provider is usually easier to maintain than layering several systems that describe the same entities differently.
Does valid schema guarantee a rich result?
No. Valid syntax and appropriate markup do not guarantee display. Search engines decide eligibility and appearance, and not every schema type has a supported rich result.
